The distinction was presented during the School of Engineering’s 51st anniversary ceremony on 7 October 2026, at the University of Minho’s Azurém campus in Guimarães.
Both researchers are named under the Institute for Polymers and Composites in the official Diploma de Reconhecimento de Mérito de Publicação Científica recipient list. The recognition highlights their scientific publication activity.
Bruno and Loïc collaborate in polymer and materials research, bringing molecular modelling and experimental approaches into complementary studies.
At the same ceremony, Sacha T. Mould and Maria da Conceição Paiva also received teaching-merit recognition, the Diploma de Reconhecimento de Mérito Pedagógico, in the Department of Polymer Engineering. Both collaborate with Bruno Faria in the materials research presented on this website.
